The Green Earth at 10 – We Count on Your Support

As climate change accelerates and our ecosystems face growing challenges, we need you by our side.

Your support empowers The Green Earth (TGE) to champion green citizenship, promote sustainable living, and protect Hong Kong’s natural resources.

Guided by our core value of “Cherish the Earth”, we advance sustainability through policy research, environmental education, and cross-sector collaboration, helping Hong Kong become a greener city for generations to come. As a non-profit organization, TGE is fully self-funded, receives no government subvention, and relies on public donations to sustain our work.

Please consider supporting us:

  • HK$3,000 — to fund our policy research project, providing evidence-based environmental information for the public
  • HK$1,000 — to cover the production cost of our educational materials, offering practical solutions for green living
  • HK$500 — to plant a locally native tree at TGE Charity Woodland in the country park, including seedling planting and five years of tree care

Your monthly donation plan enables us to focus on engaging with more eco-companions. Your kind support will enable us to continue our efforts in public education and policy research work focusing on climate change, energy conservation, and waste reduction at source. and help transform Hong Kong into a sustainable city to benefit future generations.

The Green Earth invites you to build the woodland with us! By making a HK$500 donation for one tree seedling, you will nurture local native tree seedling and support our daily plantation work to enhance the natural ecological values of Hong Kong. The tree seedlings will be planted and cared by The Green Earth until they become self-sufficient

As a token of appreciation, each donor of "The Green Earth Charity Woodland" will receive:

  • Tree E-certificate (Feel free to write the names of your family and friends as a gift)
  • Regular plantation growth updates - to understand the status of seedlings
  • Electronic Charity Woodland Travel Map - to plan your outing to visit the forest

Charity Woodland donor will receive the Tree E-certificate and Charity Woodland Travel Map by email within 4 weeks after transaction.

The Green Earth is grateful for the generous one-off donations. Your kind support will enable us to continue our conservation efforts to spread environmental messages through our campaigns and education programmes, letting more citizens to learn how to reduce waste, conserve energy, and address climate change in their daily lives, which help transform Hong Kong into a sustainable city.
