Sustainability Trail Field Visit With Hong Kong’s hiking trails facing ever-growing visitor pressure, trail management must also embrace conservation principles. Through on-site exploration, surveys, and documentation, participants will learn about trail degradation and the interactions between visitors and the environment. By thinking from multiple perspectives, we’ll discuss sustainable ways to preserve the natural beauty of our trails. The activity will introduce the five key elements of Sustainable Trails, fostering values of sustainability and encouraging everyone to Leave No Trace.
