Through stories, interactive activities, and hands-on exploration, students not only learn about nature conservation, but also have the opportunity to practise Leave No Trace principles in real outdoor settings. The programme also helps develop students’ observation skills, empathy, and appreciation for the natural environment. The bundle includes: 1. “What Happened to Our Mountain Friends?” Storybook Workshop Introduces Hong Kong’s countryside environment and the concept of Leave No Trace through an engaging storybook Helps students understand the relationship between human activities and the natural environment 2. No Trace Travelers' Nature Tour Takes learning beyond the classroom through nature observation, games, and sensory activities in an outdoor setting Helps students turn what they have learned into responsible outdoor behaviour and practical actions to protect nature Through a learning journey of “Understand – Connect – Care,” students move from classroom knowledge to real-life experience. They learn how to respect nature, reduce their impact on the environment, and develop responsible attitudes towards the use of countryside areas. The activities can also be adapted to support different school needs, including nature education, environmental education, outdoor learning, and student training. By exploring Hong Kong’s countryside, students can deepen their understanding of the local natural environment and develop a stronger sense of appreciation and care for it. #GameBasedLearning #ExperientialLearning #LeaveNoTrace #ValuesEducation |
